Grab your friends and family and get outdoors to enjoy a Hallowe'en-themed, COVID-friendly hike on QVN's trails! Select one of two Choose Your Own Adventures tales, the pages of which will be along the trails, and then make choices along the way to find out how your story ends!

Open Friday, October 28, 7:00 pm through to Monday, October 31. Ticket purchase is on the honour system, and the event is self-guided.

Here's how it works:

1. We will have two Hallowe'en-themed adventure tales set up on the trails. One is a shorter adventure, the story is less spooky, and it's suitable for younger participants or those who are more hesitant to find out what goes "bump" in the night. The other is a longer adventure, there are more graphic descriptions, and it's suitable for older participants or those who like the thrill of a chilling tale. Choose the adventure you want to take.

2. Look at the map, which will be provided to see where the different story points are. The points are placed in order along the trail (i.e. points 3 to 7 are between points 2 and 8).

3. Each point will have a square of reflective tape and the story card for that point. Some will be stakes at the side of the trail, and some will be attached to fence posts. Read through the story card, then hike to your next point as directed on the card.
